Mrs. Heard is a native of LaGrange, GA. She is a PROUD graduate of the 1988 class of Troup High School. She has been married to Titus Heard for 22 years. They have two daughters Wanda and Alexis Heard.
Mrs. Heard attended Tuskegee University and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Social Work. She later attended Troy State University and obtained a Masters in Counseling and Psychology. She has completed all coursework toward her PhD. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor.
She is currently employed as the Executive Director for the LaGrange Housing Authority. One of her goals as the Executive Director is to add value to the lives of her residents, provide services that innovate healthy lifestyles and transform the current housing into state of the art living conditions.
Mrs. Heard is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority LaGrange Alumnae Chapter in LaGrange, Ga. Currently serving as the president. She has been a member for 15 years. She deeply loves her sorority and volunteering in the community.
In her spare time she watches all sports, plays tennis with her husband and attending the US Open in New York. She loves attending Troup High sporting events. She spends time with her family shopping, cooking and traveling.
