Leslie R. Ellis currently holds the position of Public Housing Manager at the Housing Authority of the City of Hazlehurst Georgia. Leslie has been in housing for over 15 years. She began her career in housing on the college level. She has been a Residential Director at Albany State University and Hampton University to name a couple. After her tenure on the college level, she moved on to Public Housing.
After moving back to her hometown of Hazlehurst Georgia, she began her career with the Housing Authority of the City of Hazlehurst and has been there since 2010. Leslie not only worked for Albany State University, but is also faithful Golden Ram, she attended Albany State from 1990-1994. She earned her B.S. degree in Management from Jacksonville University in 1996 and her Master of Public Administration from Ashford University in 2013. She is certified in Rent Calculations and a Certified HCV &Public Housing Manager.
Leslie loves spending time with her family and 1 year old son Bryson. She also enjoys helping in community activities, as well as helping people achieve individual goals.
