GAHRA Future Leaders 007NICOLE T. BAILEY, PHM Senior Property Manager, joined Dublin Housing Authority in July of 1995 as an Admission Specialist after two years as Property Administrative Assistant at Curry Realtors.

Ms. Bailey is very active member of the Future Leaders Committee. She is a past committee member of the SACS Committee and continues to serve on the Management Committee. As a Dublin Housing Authority employee, Ms. Bailey earned her Public Housing Manager Certification designation along with numerous other training, such as fair housing, reasonable suspicion training, and tax credit compliance. In 1997 she received an Accomplishment Award, a corporate award, for highest achievement among her peers and in 1999, received Employee of the Year. Ms. Bailey continued her hard work and leadership in 2002 and was deservingly rewarded when she was promoted to Occupancy Specialist. In July of 2007 she was promoted again because of her leadership to Property Manager and currently oversees half of the Dublin Housing Authority portfolio.

Ms. Bailey’s responsibilities at Dublin Housing Authority include all aspects of property management, budgeting, administration, personnel, occupancy control, Bond and Tax Credit compliance and tenant/resident relations. In addition, Ms. Bailey continues to train new managers for her company’s 540 apartment portfolio and varies business adventures.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Bailey is an outstanding and natural problem solver and shows great compassion for her residents. She is an exceptional individual who takes pride in her occupation. As a manager, she has proven herself an exceptional people person and continues to enjoy the “hands on” of marketing and leasing of the units for which she is responsible. Since her association with Dublin Housing Authority Ms. Bailey has expanded her responsibilities to encompass seven full and part time employees, and currently looking into acquiring her Georgia real estate license.
