Felicia D. Ashe holds the title of Family Self-Sufficiency (FSS) Coordinator and Homeownership Coordinator at the Housing Authority of the City of College Park, Georgia. Ms. Ashe has been employed with the Housing Authority of the City of College Park for ten years. Prior to her present employment with the Housing Authority of the City of College Park she was employed with the Housing Authority of the City of East Point for five years. She began at this agency at the age of seventeen from a work-study program in high school. Ms. Ashe has over fifteen years of housing experience and is working towards excelling in the profession. She has the unique combination of education and real experience. It is important to invest and keep confident, talented individuals like Ms. Ashe that will grow professionally and are willing to rise to higher levels.
An important aspect of her life is her daughter, family, and friends. She is active in a variety of organizations including GAHRA Housing & Redevelopment Committee as Vice-Chair for FSS. Outside of professional interests, she travels domestic and international, and enjoys living life. She continuously inspires others. One of her favorite quotes is “The moment you’re ready to quit is usually the moment right before a miracle happens.” She encourages her participants to never give up!
